Vice President JD Vance Delivers Remarks at Mid-City Steel-August 28, 2025

Vice President Vance: Thank you. Thank you all. We love you all. Thank you, Wisconsin. It’s great to be here. We have a great-looking crowd. Thank you all. It’s the best-looking group of welders and steelmen and women I’ve seen in my entire life. I think this is a sharp crew.

Now, everybody behind me—I was told—volunteered to be there. So, you guys have to clap and cheer at everything I say. And if not, we’re going to have to kick you the hell out of here. A couple of people—some of the hardest-working folks in this facility—were selected to stand behind me, and I’m not going to call them out by name, but I just want to say we’re proud of you, proud of what you do, and proud that the tradition of Wisconsin craftsmanship lives on in this great facility today. President Trump Holds a Cabinet Meeting, Aug. 26, 2025

Trump:
Hello. Thank you very much. Are you all set? You all ready? Nice group. Big group. But I want to thank you all for being here as we prepare to celebrate Labor Day, when we honor the incredible, hardworking men and women of our country—which is doing very well.

I have to tell you, every policy of the Trump administration is designed to lift up the American worker, promote great-paying blue-collar jobs, and rebuild the industrial bedrock of our nation. It’s also, obviously, for great defense. We have the greatest military in the world. We rebuilt it largely in my first term. Some of it was stupidly given away to Afghanistan—for what reason, nobody can figure out.

But it was still a relatively small amount compared to the concept of what they did. However, the country is doing well. We’re respected all over the world like never before, probably. We went to NATO, as you know, and they went from 2% to 5% of GDP. Nobody expected that. And the difference is—they didn’t pay the two, and they paid the five. So, as you know, we are selling a tremendous amount of equipment to NATO. We’re not spending any money. We’re making money. Continue reading “President Trump Holds a Cabinet Meeting, Aug. 26, 2025”

President Trump Participates in a Bilateral Meeting with the President of the Republic of Korea August 25, 2025

President Trump:

Well, that’s a big crowd. This is a very large crowd. You get more than most countries, I have to say. This is a very good crowd of the media.

It’s an honor to be with President Lee of South Korea. Uh, we’ve known each other and gotten along very well. We have some additional trade because I hear they want to renegotiate the deal, but that’s okay. I don’t mind that. That doesn’t mean they’re going to get anything, but I don’t mind.

But we’re going to have some very serious discussions about different things, including trade, where we do a lot with South Korea, as you know. We’re thinking about contracting some ships. They build them very well in South Korea. They’re also thinking about coming to our country with some shipyards to start us on the process of building ships again. Do you know, in World War II, we’d build a ship a day? And today we don’t build ships anymore, which is ridiculous. We’re going to start that again.

We were like you—we were building ships all the time for everybody. And presidents and people allowed that to slip by. Now we buy ships, but we’re going to be buying ships from South Korea. We’re also going to have them make ships here, with our people, using our people, and we’re going to go back into the shipbuilding business again. Because, really, essentially, we don’t build ships anymore, which is ridiculous. How that ever happened—but we were the best at it. President Trump Signs Executive Orders, Aug. 25, 2025

Trump: Thank you very much. It’s a very important day for many reasons. We’ve had a lot of important days lately, but this is a meeting and a group of people that are doing an unbelievable job in a thing called crime—and in particular, violent crime.

Today, we’re going to be discussing it. And, uh, I watched as a very incompetent mayor from Chicago said, “Well, what do they know? They only arrested nine people.” I said, “Nine people? We didn’t arrest nine people. We actually arrested a total of well over a thousand people. We took hundreds of guns away from young kids that were throwing them around like it was candy. We apprehended scores of illegal aliens. We seized dozens of illegal firearms. There have been zero murders.”

It sounds sort of terrible to say. It’s embarrassing. I did this over the weekend. I’m making a speech, and I acted like I was so proud as I said, “We’ve had zero murders in the last week.” And some of these people were from foreign countries. They said, “That doesn’t sound so good.” And I said, “Well, it doesn’t sound good, but Washington was the most dangerous place in this country. And now, you know what? It’s probably the safest place in our country. Everyone’s starting to come here. The restaurants now—you can’t get in. Many of them closed because they couldn’t open with crime.” Continue reading “President Trump Signs Executive Orders, Aug. 25, 2025”

President Trump Makes a FIFA Announcement, Aug. 22, 2025

Trump: Thank you very much. We have a very big announcement to make today. You all know Gianni—he came all the way from Italy, the beautiful country of Italy, to be with us. He just got off the plane, and he’s a hardworking guy, does a phenomenal job with FIFA. Nobody like him.

I’m delighted to welcome FIFA President Gianni Infantino back to the White House for a major announcement about one of the most anticipated competitions in all of sports: the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That’s going to be the World Cup as we know it. It’s the biggest—probably the biggest event in sports, I guess, Gianni, right? President Trump Joins Law Enforcement and Military Personnel in Washington, D.C.

What a nice group. Thank you, thank you.
Got to be very careful. You don’t want to slip or fall like somebody else I know. We don’t want that to happen.
Where are we going, Margot? Over here.

Hello everybody. It’s great to be with you. You guys are doing a fantastic job, and gals doing an amazing job, and we appreciate it. And the numbers are down like we wouldn’t believe—but we believe it.

Where do I stand here? Right? Rare. Okay.
Hello. It’s a healthy, attractive-looking group of people. It’s good.

Well, I just want to thank everybody very much for being here. I wanted to do this. We’ve had some incredible results. The results have come out, and it’s like a different place. Vice President JD Vance Delivers Remarks at ALTA Refrigeration, Inc.

The Vice President: How are we doing, Georgia? (Audience cheers and chants.) Thank you, thank you. Please. It’s great to be in Peachtree City, and I’ve got to say, you guys have got a hell of a congressman. How much do we love Brian Jack here in the Third District of Georgia? Thank you, Brian! (Applause.)

Now, we’ve got a few other people I want to thank—of course, the great EPA Administrator, Lee Zeldin. Lee, thank you so much. (Applause.) And proud Atlanta native Kelly Loeffler—thank you for all you’re doing at the Small Business Administration. (Applause.)

All right, you guys are lucky to have a great, Trump-endorsed lieutenant governor—Burt. Burt, good to see you, man. How we doing? (Applause.) Burt greeted me on the tarmac today. He had been on the tarmac, I think, for a few minutes, because he was sweating bullets in that hot Atlanta sun. I felt bad for him. But Burt, thank you—you’re going to make a great governor for the state of Georgia, and we’re with you every step of the way.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Briefs Members of the Media, Aug. 19, 2025

Karoline Leavitt: Good afternoon, everybody. How are you? Good to see all of you.
What we’ve witnessed President Trump accomplish over the last few days has been nothing short of remarkable. We are now three and a half years into the war between Russia and Ukraine, a brutal conflict that has claimed hundreds of thousands of Russian and Ukrainian lives and cost trillions of dollars. The weakness and incompetence of Joe Biden foolishly allowed the killing to start in the first place—until President Trump returned to office in January.

The bloody and broken Biden status quo was to endlessly force American taxpayers to fund Ukraine—no matter the cost, no matter how long it takes, and no matter how many lives were lost. There is no denying that Biden’s America-Last foreign policy moved the world further away from peace. Continue reading “Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Briefs Members of the Media, Aug. 19, 2025”

President Trump Participates in a Multilateral Meeting with European Leaders

The President: Isn’t it just—it’s such an incredible place. Well, we’re building a big ballroom. Beautiful. Right here, if you go—it would be right through that. Right through here.

Male Speaker: (inaudible)

The President: It’s going to be—I’ll tell you, but it’s going to be fantastic, actually. You can let them come in. I think we’re going to have a successful talk today. Please, come on in. Do you guys want to take some questions or anything? Hi, Mark.

Well, thank you very much. It’s a great honor to have you here. A special place—the White House is special no matter where you’re from. It represents so much, and it truly is beautiful. And thank you for all of the wonderful things that took place today. We’ve had a very successful day thus far—important discussions as we work to end the killing and stop the war in Ukraine. President Trump Participates in a Bilateral Meeting with the President of Ukraine

The President: Well, thank you very much. It’s an honor to have the President of Ukraine with us. We’ve had a lot of good discussions and a lot of good talks, and I think progress is being made—very, very substantial progress in many ways. We had a good meeting, as you know, just a short while ago with the President of Russia, and I think there’s a possibility that something could come out of it. And today’s meeting is very important.

We have, I guess, the seven very powerful leaders from Europe, and we’re going to be meeting with them right after this meeting. And thank you very much for being here. Continue reading “President Trump Participates in a Bilateral Meeting with the President of Ukraine”
